The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport Twin-Time CBU2084.FT6297 features a 44mm diameter and 16.7mm thick case crafted from Grade 2 titanium, continuing the series' bold and avant-garde style with contrasting brushed and sandblasted finishes. Its iconic X-shaped skeletonized dial is not only robust but also remarkably symmetrical, especially when combined with the exquisite brushed finish of the plate beneath the dial, adding a depth and texture that surpasses conventional skeletonized chronographs! Powering this watch is the TH20-02 movement, derived from TAG Heuer's in-house TH20-00 automatic chronograph movement with the addition of a dual time zone module. It boasts a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, utilizes a column wheel and vertical clutch mechanism, and offers an 80-hour power reserve. I personally particularly appreciate this combination of chronograph and dual time zone functions, as it's both practical and enjoyable. The dual time zone function makes traveling across time zones effortless, while the chronograph allows you to simply press a button when you're bored. Especially for the Carrera series, the chronograph function also carries the important responsibility of lineage and heritage! Although this combination of functions is perfect and not overly complex, there aren't many watches of this type available. If I'm not mistaken, there are probably no more than 10 such watches currently on the market, and these watches are either prohibitively expensive, excessively thick, or simply not very good. Finding a watch that strikes a balance between these three factors, it seems, is precisely what this Carrera chronograph achieves.

For a dual time zone chronograph, the difficulty lies not in the functions themselves, but in the trade-offs between them. One of the most important trade-offs is whether to include a tachymeter scale, a 24-hour scale, or both. If you want all the features, this watch will definitely look cluttered; if you want a tachymeter bezel, then the dual time zone function will be inconvenient to use; if you want a 24-hour scale bezel, then this watch won't look cool enough. If it were me, I would definitely choose the 24-hour scale bezel, because in daily life, the tachymeter bezel is practically useless except for its aesthetics. If I wanted something purely for aesthetics, I would just buy a Carrera chronograph, why choose a dual time zone chronograph? Clearly, this Carrera Extreme Sports series dual time zone chronograph not only prioritizes practicality but also uses a two-tone ceramic bezel to make the watch equally visually appealing.
